C.L.A.S.S.

C.L.A.S.S. was built by the Institute for Digital Equity and Attention Science (I.D.E.A.S.) to bridge the gap between scholarly achievement and equitable access. We believe every learner, regardless of background, geography, or circumstance, deserves a structured, supported, and intellectually enriching educational experience.

C.L.A.S.S. (Collaborative Learning, Access, and Scholarly Success) is an academic development program designed to strengthen research, writing, and critical thinking skills beginning as early as the 8th grade. The program was created in response to a growing educational gap: many students are progressing through middle school and high school with strong grades on paper, yet entering college without the research foundation, analytical discipline, and academic confidence required to succeed at a higher level. In too many cases, inflated grading practices and uneven academic preparation have allowed students to advance without fully mastering essential academic tasks such as scholarly writing, source evaluation, critical reading, structured argumentation, and independent inquiry.

Through guided instruction, mentorship, and skill-building opportunities, C.L.A.S.S. helps students develop the tools needed to think critically, conduct meaningful research, communicate ideas effectively, and transition into college or advanced study with greater readiness. Its mission is not only to improve academic performance, but to cultivate serious thinkers and capable scholars who are prepared to meet the demands of higher education and beyond.

Every level of completion allows the student to work on a real world research project that I.D.E.A.S. is actually involved in. Imagine your child being able to show that they have been conducting research from 8th grade till the day they step foot on a campus.
